Repair or replacement?
Repair is generally appropriate only when the damage is outside the driver's field of view, does not extend to the edge of the glass, and is roughly no larger than a quarter. Final eligibility always depends on an in-person inspection.
Repair: a preventive treatment intended to help keep the damage from spreading. It is not a cosmetic process that makes the break disappear.
Replacement: choose this if you want the glass to look new or do not want the break to remain visible.
