Yes. Sunroofs are finicky — they require the right tools and the right patience. Most shops won't touch them. We've been doing sunroof work for years and have the equipment to handle standard and panoramic roofs.
Nine times out of ten, the drain lines are clogged. Water pools in the sunroof tray and overflows into the cabin. We clear the drain lines as part of every sunroof job. If the seals are worn, we replace them too.
A leak diagnosis and drain line clear takes about 60 to 90 minutes. Full glass replacement with new seals and a leak test takes about 2 to 3 hours. We give you a firm estimate before we start.
If the damage was caused by a fallen object, a break-in, or an accident — yes, comprehensive coverage typically applies. Slow leaks from worn seals over time are usually not covered. We verify coverage before we start.
