Simple side window or rear glass replacement takes about 60 to 90 minutes. If we discover a bad window regulator or motor at the same time, we fix it then — adding maybe 30 to 45 minutes — so you make one trip instead of two.
Yes. We replace the glass and repair or replace the regulator if the break-in damaged it. We can often get the glass sourced the same day so you are not out of commission long. We do not handle the broken glass cleanup inside the vehicle — that's on you or your detailer.
Comprehensive insurance typically covers vandalism and break-in damage to side and rear glass. The claim process is the same as windshield replacement — we handle it and you just pay your deductible.
We do both. When we replace the glass, we inspect the regulator and motor. If either is worn, we replace it while the door panel is already off — no extra trip needed.
